Fantastic Stay at Maria's Way
We spend a fantastic week at Maria's Way. Two blocks away from easy beach access and and bicycles, boogie boards, and a beach buggy included in the rental. Even an outdoor shower. Much more space then we needed for our family of four. The house is beautifully appointed with anything you could need and has a fantastic swimming pool and hot tub. Anna Maria Island is beautiful. We had great seafood at several of the local restaurants. Highly recommend a stay at Maria's way for anyone looking a great house rental very close to the beach.

Nice open floor plan home close to beach
Loved this house! The kitchen was the best I’ve ever rented and fully stocked with kitchen items! I brought my own egg pan, knife and spatula which I didn’t even end up needing! The open floor plan was so nice as well as the front porch which is where we spent most of our time while at the house. Our only complaint is the house could very much use new beds! The master bed had a sink hole on one side that my husband said leaned off the the edge. The twin beds also weren’t the most comfortable either. We loved the beach towels provided. Wish there would have been a list of what the kitchen had in it. Walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. Gorgeous white sand beaches without the crowds of Siesta but just as nice! Our kids loved the Rod and Reel Pier. We will definitely be back for more vacations to AMI.

Best AMI rental ever!
What a lovely summer vacation! We have stayed on the island many times, in both Holmes Beach and Anna Maria, with and without kids, dogs, and extended family. We have never been disappointed, and this was the best place we have ever stayed in. It was August, so it was HOT. The pool was perfectly located under the house so as so ensure that it was cool and shady during the day- a perfect escape from the broiling sun. Pool has great little ledges and is not too deep- great for all ages and abilities. The home was large and well laid-out. A long hallway with separate private decks for different family members to eat, read and hang out. The overhead fans keep things cool and comfortable in even 100+ degrees. Screens keep out the bugs but let the air flow. Air conditioning throughout. A loft upstairs with a bedroom and a pull-out sofa bed, plus a desk to work at (if you have to). Well-stocked kitchen. We had to leave for a couple of days to avoid Hurricane Idalia, but fortunately no damage and all was back to normal after a couple of days. The staff at Island Real Estate, especially Frank and Marissa, were friendly, available, and took every step to ensure that we were happy, comfortable and safe throughout. We had never stayed this far north on the island before, and it was a real treat: so quiet and peaceful, yet an easy walk to Pine and the Sandbar, Donut Experiment, Jeannie and Jane E's, and Two Scoops. Can't wait to come back!!

A great space and location!
This house is a hidden gem. The layout and spaces make the house seem larger than it is. It has everything you need for cooking and heading to the beach. There were a few things that need attention: no vacuum or laying out chairs for guests to use, beach items room should be cleaned out and some items updated. The door needs to be painted to go with the rest of the updated house. The twin bedroom should be laid out differently. The AC floor unit is right next to one of the beds at the top only inches from persons head who sleeps there. It is very loud! Had to use one of the couches instead. These attended details would give it a five star. Top notch for cleanliness and the pool area! Thank you for making our week a great vacation.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!
Wow… let’s start with the property. This house was awesome. Beauty with functionality. My wife our two children (1 and 4) and I always had something to do. The pool is wonderful and the property has a grill and great sitting area to make for great days hanging out around the pool (the pool is situated perfectly under the house and worked out great for the one rainy day we had).The spa was amazing! Being able to put the kids down for bedtime and hang out in the spa was great. Everything in the pool area was situated perfectly! Even if we had a larger group it would be perfect. Plenty of seating area and, my wife’s favorite spot for reading and napping, a great hammock strung right next to the pool. Inside the house, everyone again has their own area. The kids loved playing in the loft area and had the perfect bedroom upstairs leaving plenty of time for my wife and I to relax on the comfortable sofa to watch our favorite shows. There are plenty of cool local restaurants on AMI but you’ll find yourself not really needing them when you have such a functional kitchen with all the hardware you need to make the perfect meal. Bathrooms are very nice and look to have been recently updated and you’ll have no problem getting comfortable sleep after long days of exploring the island. Now on to the island. If you want a Caribbean feel while staying in the contingent US then this is the place to be! All locals and shops are super friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart as there is more island to explore than you think and it makes for a great way to get around. We did spend one night in Disney for my wife and kids who have never been but we could have easily spent the entire week on the island without leaving. Overall, this property was perfect. Comfortable, welcoming and would be very flexible for multiple couples / families. Located a very short walk to a very secluded and, of course, perfect beach. We will absolutely be coming back and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere but Maria’s Way!

Everything was great!

This was everything we wanted. Great location - a short walk to the beach. We could walk or ride bikes to coffee shops. The heated pool and hot tub was ideal for January. We enjoyed the screened in porches. Plenty of space for our family of 6, including 4 teens.
