Description

“Fernweh” (means to crave travel; being homesick for a place you’ve never been) is a gorgeous newly built home on Holmes Beach. This home has 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms and can accommodate up to 8 guests. This home is the epitome of island luxury as no details were left out and all aspects of this home will be sure to go above and beyond each one of your guest’s expectations! During your stay you're only 320 steps away from the beach!

This home’s main living level offers an open-floor plan with ample seating options for everyone to catch up and wind down after a long beach day! The kitchen has granite countertops throughout, stainless steel appliances, and a large island with seating for 4. The large dining table can seat up to 8 and is conveniently located just off the kitchen. Just beyond that you will find seating with a flat screen TV that can be seen even from the kitchen, so everyone can cheer on your favorite team during the big game! This main living floor also has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with a King and its own private bathroom.

There is a deck with seating options that is attached directly off the main living area of this home that offers a great space for morning coffee. This deck also has direct access to the pool downstairs via the staircase.

Head upstairs where you will find the other 2 bedrooms, each with a King bed and their own private attached bathroom. Each bedroom in this home contains a flat screen TV and each has its own access to an outside porch – a perfect space to relax and listen to the island breeze!

Before stepping outside to the outdoor oasis, find yourself playing a round of ping pong in the game room downstairs that also has a mini fridge. Outside you will find yourself emerged in a true oasis with palms surrounding the tranquil pool and spa, outdoor shower, propane grill and seating area with a flat screen TV. The under-deck shade area has a TV and fan so it is the perfect area to take a break from the sun a cool down! You and your guests will find it difficult to leave this outside space.

This home is centrally located on Anna Maria Island and is within close proximity to the free island trolley route that goes from Coquina Beach on the south end to the City Pier on the north end. This is a great option for exploring on a day when you feel like leaving you car at home. The Ugly Grouper – a fun and unique outdoor dining experience, skate park, Hurricane Hanks, and Vinny’s Italian Kitchen, just to name a few!

Please be sure to obey all traffic laws and be sure you are parking in a permitted area if parking on the streets. If you park in a non-parking zone or against traffic, you will be ticketed.

Anna Maria Island’s noise ordinance aims to ensure citizens can enjoy a peaceful environment. The ordinance applies to all areas of the city, including public and private property, and places of business. It defines noise as any sound that annoys or disturbs a reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities or causes or tends to cause an adverse physical or psychological effect on such reasonable person. The noise ordinance limits the maximum permissible noise levels to:

7 AM–10 PM: 65 decibels: (Consistently shouting in the pool exceeds 65 decibels)

10 PM–7 AM: 50 decibels: (An audible conversation from 50’ or 15 meters away exceeds 50 decibels)

The ordinance also prohibits plainly audible noise, which refers to any sound that can be clearly heard by a person using their normal hearing faculties. This means that a person can still be in violation if the noise can be easily heard by responding officers from a distance of 100 feet from the property line. Fines for excessive noise can range from $100 to $1,000.
